If you find yourself answering yes to one or more of these questions, we can help! If you have dental fears, bad past experiences or trouble getting through a dental visit, we want to change the way you view the dentist! At Schwerer Dental Care, we want every patient to feel comfortable and free of fear each time they schedule a visit.
Types of Sedation
Oral Sedation
IV Sedation
IV sedation is given by one of our trained doctors and goes to work within minutes. With IV sedation, the level of sedation can be raised or lowered throughout your treatment. You will be completely relaxed and remember little to nothing following your visit.
Nitrous Sedation
Nitrous sedation works through a facial mask and begins taking effect quickly. With nitrous sedation, you will be able to fully relax but will also be able to respond to your dentist if needed. Once the mask is taken off, the effects of sedation will start to fade.
