Dr. Halpern grew up on Long Island, New York. Close enough to New York city to develop love of Broadway while far enough to have spent much of his youth riding bikes and climbing trees. Meeting his now wife at just fourteen. He received his Bachelor’s Degree and later Masters Degree in Biology from Long Island University. Where his areas of study focused on local and tropical reef ecology as well as microbiology. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University.
Growing up he found a love of the ocean and of music. Throughout his years in education, he was a touring musician. Allowing him to see many parts of the country and meet a wide variety of people. He believes if you interact with enough people in this world, it becomes easy to see meeting a new person as welcoming a new friend.
In 2019 his family moved away from the cold of the northeast to Florida where he began to serve the community of the treasure coast. Quickly falling in love with the area they have happily become permanent residents of St Lucie County. All aspects of dentistry have fascinated Dr. Halpern and he’s passionate about taking a variety of continuing education courses.
When not in the office he spends his time with his wife and daughter soaking up as much time outdoors as possible. Still enthusiastic about music and the ocean. As well as tabletop games with friends and family.
