Armando Bengochea, DDS

Dr. Armando F. Bengochea, DDS, is a distinguished dentist with a passion for providing exceptional care to his patients. He earned his dental degree from Universidad Iberoamericana in the Dominican Republic, where he was honored on the Dean's List and graduated with distinction. Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Dr. Bengochea returned to the United States to complete his residency in Youngstown, Ohio.

During his time in Ohio, Dr. Bengochea demonstrated strong leadership skills, holding pivotal roles such as Chairperson of the Western Reserve Institutional Review and Chief Resident of General Practice. His leadership and dedication were recognized when he received the Excellence in Leadership Award from the National Society of Leadership and Success. After completing his residency, Dr. Bengochea returned to Florida to continue advancing his dental career.

Dr. Bengochea is board-certified by the Northeast Regional Board and holds Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association. He is an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and was previously affiliated with the Corydon Palmer Dental Society in Ohio. Beyond his professional credentials, Dr. Bengochea has been deeply committed to community service, offering much-needed dental care to underserved adults and children in low-income areas. His volunteer work includes providing screenings, cleanings, and extractions to those in need.

In his personal life, Dr. Bengochea lives in Port St. Lucie, Florida, with his wife, Jessica, and their daughter, Arya. Outside of the office, they enjoy spending quality time with family and friends in Miami and Orlando. An avid enthusiast of tropical fish, Dr. Bengochea is always expanding his home aquarium. Additionally, he and Jessica are passionate foodies, enjoying culinary adventures that range from home-cooked barbecue to discovering new restaurants.

Dr. Bengochea is dedicated to staying at the forefront of dental research and techniques, ensuring that his patients receive the highest quality care. He is known for his approachability and excellent listening skills, always prioritizing his patients' needs. He firmly believes in educating his patients about available treatment options, and discussing the pros and cons of each, so they can make informed decisions about their care.
